Funding Opportunities
We are excited to offer two impactful initiatives for the youth of Lead and Deadwood. Our Bicycle Program provides refurbished bikes to kids in need, encouraging outdoor activity and mobility. In addition, our Funding Program offers financial assistance to help local youth participate in sports and recreation activities by covering expenses like registration fees, equipment, and more. These programs are dedicated to ensuring every child in our community has the opportunity to stay active, engaged, and thrive.
Scholarships
The Northern Hills Recreation Association is offering scholarship opportunities to support Lead-Deadwood youth who may not have the financial means to participate in recreational or sports programs. Scholarships are available to help cover costs such as registration fees, sports equipment, and other related expenses, ensuring all youth have the chance to engage in physical activities and recreation.
Community Bike Program
This program collects used bicycles, refurbishes them to ensure quality, and provides them to children in the Lead and Deadwood community. Each bike is carefully inspected and restored by our committee members to ensure safety and reliability, encouraging outdoor activity and mobility for local youth.
